Purchasing and Sourcing Specialist – Renewable Energy

We are looking to hire a talented PURCHASING AND SOURCING SPECIALIST for our Renewables Energy division. The Purchasing & Sourcing Specialist supports the Strategic Sourcing Manager by executing day-to-day procurement activities for renewable energy projects.

Requirements

• Execute procurement lifecycle tasks under the direction of the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
• Manage assigned commodities and maintain supplier relationships, escalating strategic issues to the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, conduct bid evaluations, and provide award recommendations for Project Manager approval.
• Develop and maintain procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Draft and process Purchase Order packages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Track and manage purchase orders from placement through delivery and closeout.
• Monitor supplier performance, report risks/delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support supplier audits and compliance checks as directed.
• Coordinate with internal teams on scope changes, expediting, and document submittals.
• Provide weekly procurement status updates to project managers and the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
• Lead weekly Project Procurement Meetings focused on tactical execution, with strategic oversight from the Strategic Sourcing Manager.
