Civil Engineer - Mid-Level

City Chattanooga, TN is offering a full-time Civil Engineering Mid-Level position with the Energy & Industrial Group. The role involves civil site development, power plant system design and analysis, stormwater drainage, and solid waste disposal planning, as well as assisting in the design of storm sewer, road, and trackwork systems. The position requires a BSCE from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program and offers the possibility for travel to client sites.

Requirements

• Prepare calculations relating to storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems and disposal fields, and earthwork.
• Prepare technical specifications to define construction requirements.
• Prepare site layout, grading, and drainage designs.
• Work with Designers to accurately portray designs in 3-D models and design drawings.
• Review shop drawings and other vendor documentation for conformity with specifications.
• Work in a hybrid work schedule and require in-office work 3 days per week.
