Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer -- Energy & Industrial Group

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to contribute to the design of new power plants, modifications to existing facilities, and plant controls improvements. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work three days a week, including design reviews and on-site construction coordination. The role involves project team collaboration, mentoring, and professional development within a multi-discipline environment.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical)
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam completion
• Engineer in Training designation
• 12+ years of power plant and heavy industrial control systems experience
• Knowledge of instrumentation and controls engineering
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, including MS Excel and Access
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
