Job Description
The company is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to perform consulting work for power uprates at nuclear power plants. The role involves designing and reviewing equipment, preparing calculations, and mentoring junior engineers. They are expanding work in the nuclear industry, working on major systems and plant process within the following areas: power uprates, turbine retrofits, and heat exchanger replacements.
Requirements
- BSME from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background.
- 10+ years of experience in the nuclear power industry.
- Experience with nuclear power uprates and/or turbine retrofit projects.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations.
