Senior Civil Engineer

SLC works on behalf of clients to support utility-scale thermal, solar, wind, battery energy storage, and other power generating and infrastructure projects. This position will require you to perform civil engineering reviews and analyses to understand power projects and distill technical expertise into actionable information that project stakeholders rely on to prudently develop, design, construct, operate, and finance those projects.

Requirements

• Perform civil engineering reviews, including storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, road design, and earthwork
• Support preparation and review of site layout, grading, and preliminary drainage designs
• Prepare and review technical specifications to define construction requirements
• Advise power project developers
• Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing
• Develop technical reports for applicable audiences – including owners, developers, governmental agencies and committees, and financiers
