Senior Civil Engineer -- Energy & Industrial Group

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Energy & Industrial Group. This full-time, hybrid position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced civil engineering skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment, working on power plant and industrial system design, modification, and analysis. Responsibilities include calculations, specifications, site layout, and project coordination with project managers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• BSCE from ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
• PE license or ability to earn a PE license
• Five or more years of working in a project team environment in the design of industrial projects, power plant experience preferred
• Experience in technical writing for reports, calculations, and specifications
• Experience in preparing, submitting, and obtaining site related permits
• Proficiency with one or more of the following civil engineering design tools: Civil 3D, StormCad, PondPack, and AutoTurn
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
