Job Description
Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Structural Drafter 2 to develop 3D designs of steel structures and concrete foundations for 2D drawing deliverables. This hybrid role involves working in the office three days a week, remote working for two, and providing support to senior designers and collaborating with mechanical/electrical engineers. The company focuses on decarbonization, sustainable energy, and innovative technologies like carbon capture.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation)
- Awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- CAD software skills are a plus but not required
