Job Description
This structural engineering position within the Nuclear Power Group of Sargent & Lundy offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in nuclear facilities and upgrades. The role involves collaboration with a team, design, analysis, and construction support, utilizing state-of-the-art tools. The position requires in-office work 3 days per week and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Requirements
- BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis
- Experience with AISC steel and ACI concrete designs
- Experience with structural analysis software (STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, ANSYS)
- Experience with design codes and standards (ASCE 7, AISC, ACI)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
