Transmission Line Engineer 3 - Grid

This Transmission Line Engineering position at Sargent & Lundy involves applying knowledge of transmission line engineering principles to design and analyze transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range. The role includes structural analysis, foundation design, conductor selection, cost estimation, and preparing specifications for procurement. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and the flexibility to work remotely for two days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• Related engineering, internship, or co-op experience
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
• Three or more years related experience in transmission line engineering
• Knowledge of engineering principles
• Knowledge of design techniques
• Proficiency with MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
