End of Line Mechanical Technician

Saronic Technologies is seeking a skilled End of Line Mechanical Technician to join their team on 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:30pm). This role is crucial for ensuring the mechanical systems and components of autonomous surface vessels are thoroughly tested, assembled, and meet all specifications before delivery to the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and final inspection of complex mechanical systems, working closely with engineers and production teams to maintain high standards of mechanical performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a mechanical technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, assembly processes, and troubleshooting techniques
• Proficiency with mechanical testing tools
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, testing, and maintenance of complex systems
• Familiarity with industry standards for mechanical safety and compliance
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Experience working with autonomous systems, unmanned vehicles, or defense technologies
• Knowledge of mechanical software tools
• Familiarity with propulsion and power transmission systems
