Job Description
Savan is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to provide communications strategy and execution support for a major federal health agency. This role involves client-facing communication, mentoring a communications team, and optimizing IT agency operations through enterprise optimization, with the goal of modernizing the agency's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Six years of experience with federal client-facing exposure
- Experience writing intranet and web content, reports, and emails
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze and apply critical thinking
- Ability to coordinate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree
- Public trust clearance
