Job Description
The Department of Medical Education at the Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine is recruiting a full-time, non-tenure track Foundational Sciences faculty member. The successful candidate will have experiences to warrant a rank of Associate Professor or Professor and will join an innovative and forward-thinking team in developing and delivering an interdisciplinary and longitudinal foundational science curriculum spanning multiple academic programs at The Chicago School’s.
Requirements
- Terminal degree (PhD, PharmD, DO/MD) in area of expertise
- Expertise in teaching subject matter in post-secondary, graduate or medical education
- Ability to collaboratively and effectively work with faculty, staff and administration in the development of a new College and multiple academic programs
- Technical competence to support the development of curriculum, teaching materials, assessment items and to ensure continuous quality improvement
