Job Description
Join Scatec, a frontrunner in renewable energy, as an Electrical Engineer in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 5+ years of experience in electrical/electromechanical engineering. Key responsibilities include managing tasks and design activities, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 5+ years electrical/electromechanical engineering experience
- 1+ years renewable energy experience
- 1+ years project environment experience
- 1+ years distribution and reticulation design experience
- Experience in PVSyst modelling
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in Weather data sets (MN7, SolarGIS)
- Exposure to High Voltage Networks and Sub-Stations
- Experience in Utility Scale PV Project design and execution
