Senior Production Editor is a leadership role that requires high-level guidance on process and scheduling for confidential and complex titles. The role involves overseeing production of 40-45 graphic novels and manga titles per year, managing book production for all editions, and creating status reports.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a production editor in children's publishing, graphic novel/comics publishing, or equivalent
- BA degree
- Excellent copyediting and proofreading skills
- Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Strong computer skills, including facility with advanced functions of Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with multiple project stakeholders
- Skills to prioritize company goals while maintaining high standards of quality and juggling multiple projects
