Communications Tech 1

We have an immediate opening for a Communications Tech 1 position at Orbitel Communications. This role is responsible for providing customer support and maintenance to broadband customers, as well as splicing fiber cables and cutting terminals for new construction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• 1–2 years of CATV, fiber installation, or other relevant technical/electronic experience
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair customer products/services
• Ability to locate and mark underground services
• Knowledge and experience working with electronics, DC power, and fiber optic equipment
• Ability to work independently and plan tasks to complete projects efficiently
• Strong computer skills in Word and Excel
