Job Description
The Military Systems Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance to SURTASS mission systems, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and returning to service. This role requires conduct of tasks defined in the SME-P and maintain compliance with SPAWARINST 5400 and intermediate/depot level maintenance. Reporting generation, maintenance procedures review, and documentation using the WRK request log are also part of the job.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in computer science, electronics technology, or equivalent civilian electronics technical school
- Eight (8) years of practical hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Navy C5I, secure networks, communications systems, navigation systems, and sonar systems
- Clearance information, SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP
- US GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
