RF Engineer III

Leading engineering of Hardware Defined Radio (HDR) and Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems, providing subject matter expertise on HDR and SDR systems and cryptographic subsystems, supporting NIWC Pacific Tactical Data Link (TDL) project.

Requirements

• Bachelor of science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and Electronic Warfare (EW) to include dynamic modeling and simulation expertise, Hands-on tactical RF system experience applying engineering principles in designing, and testing these tactical systems in a Hardware-in-the-Loop laboratory environment
• Experience in software development and testing utilizing MIL-STD-6016, MIL-STD-3011, STANAG 5516, STANAG 5522, and integrating Joint Range Extension (Jilli) capability onto U.S. and foreign military platforms
• Management of integration, test, installation, performance checks, inspections, and training of Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems (domestically, international, and remote locations).
