Technical Accountant

SCOR is seeking a Technical Accountant to support the administration of insurance and reinsurance accounts and contracts. The role involves managing accounts, processing claims, handling cash flow, and providing administrative support to underwriters. Requirements

• Entries (treaties and/or facultative) in the Accounting and Underwriting system/platforms and further modifications.
• Check and process accounts and claims advices.
• Manage independently his/her portfolio of accounts.
• Resolve problems following prescribed guidelines or procedures.
• Manage cashflow including setting-up of client bank accounts.
• Perform ICS controls according to relevant guidelines.
• Monitor client accounts / statistics by using internal reports.
• Ensure compliance with sanctions and embargos.
• Ensure completeness and proper filing of underwriting, accounting and claims documentation.
• Maintain good communication with clients.
