Job Description
This Senior Manager position within the Pooled Investment Vehicles team of Global Investment Solutions (GIS) within Scotiabank will focus on providing investment advice, strategy, and thought leadership to the Wealth Management division. The role involves ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, strengthening the Pooled Investments team, and optimizing performance in an international context. The role is critical to the success of the team, and requires collaboration with other departments.
Requirements
- 10 years of finance-related experience
- Understanding of Investment Funds/Alternative Assets/ETFs
- Post-secondary degree required (Commerce or Business Administration preferred)
- CFA or CAIA charter holder or candidate preferred
- Strong skills in analytics, written and verbal communication, relationship building, self-management, and diligence
- Professional integrity
