Job Description
Scotiabank is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the delivery of technological solutions and applications meeting business needs. Requirements
- Expert in Java EE (i.e. JSP/Servlets, JSTL, Expression Language, JAX-RS, JAXB, JAX-WS)
- Expert using Java frameworks (e.g. Struts, Spring, JDBC, Hibernate) and design patterns
- Experience using Sybase or Oracle Database (i.e. SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience with web technologies (e.g. XSLT, XML, XSD, HTML, JavaScript)
- SOAP and RESTservices
- Experience using build automation tools like Apache Maven
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux shell scripting
- Experience with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform / MQ and Eclipse / Tomcat
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies
- Experience building API services
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain pleasant working relationships
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and employees of the organization
