Job Description
The Real Estate Paralegal will work with the Legal, Land, and Development Teams to support land acquisition and title efforts. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in real property transactions, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate from an accredited university
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in an in-house legal department or law firm with a heavy focus on real estate contracts
- Interest in the renewable energy industry; prior experience in the industry is preferred but not required
- Tech savvy – ability to learn and operate at a high level in a variety of software applications
- Experience drafting documents (e.g., notices, amendments, assignments, consents, waivers, etc.)
- Strong writing skills
- Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a flat organization, successfully leveraging the expertise of multiple colleagues in different lines of reporting
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
