Job Description
The DUIP Counselor/Instructor will provide general trauma-informed counseling strategies and counseling services to participants in the Driving Under the Influence Program (DUIP). The Counselor/Instructor will also facilitate group and education sessions, manage assigned client caseloads, and make referrals to the clinical team when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified by an AOD organization or in good standing as an Associate / Intern through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Two years of experience providing counseling services in the field of alcohol and/or mental health
Benefits
- Salary: $22.00 - $25.75 per hour
- Part-time contract
