Job Description
The Research Scientist I will conduct advanced material characterization, terahertz spectroscopy & imaging, multiscale modeling integration, grant proposal leadership, lab mentorship & dissemination, laboratory compliance & safety management, budget oversight & procurement, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Doctoral or equivalent degree
- 2+ years of postdoctoral research experience
- Prior experience with terahertz spectroscopy and imaging
- Knowledge of mechanics of polymers and composites
- Ability to tackle challenging scientific problems
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
