Case Manager

Case Manager to join the team at Seabird Island, working with residents dealing with addictions and substance use, providing culturally informed case management and support services in a culturally safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements

• Diploma in social sciences, addictions, mental health or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience working within Indigenous communities, focusing on case management
• Experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and contemporary issues
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Food safe Level 1
• Non-violent crisis intervention Certificate
• Valid first aid certificate
• Professionally grounded in First Nations spirituality, philosophies, ideology, knowledge, and methodologies in approach to case management and social work
• Valid class 5 driver's license and access to safe and reliable transportation, insured for community-based use
