Job Description
Penn Capital, a subsidiary of Seaport Global and an SEC registered investment adviser, is seeking a Research Analyst to join their portfolio team. The role involves following industry developments and performing security analysis, providing buy and sell recommendations, and collaborating with portfolio managers. The Analyst will utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform investment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of professional investment experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a 'buyside' investment advisor role.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively pitch credit and/or equity ideas.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
