Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machine Operator, producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
Requirements
- High School degree 4 plus years related experience and./or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Competency: produces an appropriate quantity of work; does not get bogged down by unnecessary detail; able to manage multiple projects; able to determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; organizes and schedules people and tasks.
- Communication: writes and speaks effectively, states own opinions clearly and concisely; demonstrates openness and honesty; uses consideration and tact when offering opinions.
- Problem-Solving: anticipates problems; sees how a problem and its solution will affect other departments; gathers information before making decisions; weighs alternative against objectives and arrives at reasonable decisions; adapts to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions; able to eliminate processes that do not add value; notifies supervisor of problems in a timely manner.
- Attention to Detail: follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors gauges and processes; concentrates on routine work details; organizes and maintains documents and records.
- Math Ability: has the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, fractions, and decimals.
- Computer Skills: able to demonstrate the ability to utilize Microsoft Office® and Internet Explore®
- Machine Skills: Machine knowledge, CNC plasma and oxy-fuel cutting table, Global Controller
