Director of Finance

Director of Finance - Controller position for a rapidly scaling IT services organization. Responsible for financial strategy, operational finance, reporting, and risk management. Ideal candidate has strong financial leadership experience in consulting services or IT-driven business.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required, preferably accompanied by a recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA).
• 5-10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably with leadership in a services-based organization.
• Experience working with one of the Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable.
• Experience in high-growth IT, technology consulting, or professional services environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Background with PSA/CRM tools such as Projectworks, HubSpot or similar tools.
• Strong expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
• Deep understanding of utilization, revenue recognition, and margin drivers within a professional services model.
• Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and reporting infrastructure.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders, influence strategic decision-making and establish a sense of urgency.

Benefits

• Base Salary: $150,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience
• 15% bonus
