Job Description
The QA Specialist II is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the VSL quality management system, ensuring adherence to the quality policy and standards. This role involves data tracking, corrective action processes, quality assurance inspections, and documentation for projects. The position qualifies for a hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work.
Requirements
- Post-secondary Diploma in Quality Management Systems or equivalent
- Internal auditing experience is an asset
- Shipbuilding or related trades experience is an asset
- Business ethics, integrity, and honesty
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
- Knowledge of VSL Quality Assurance policies
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
