Trade Supervisor, Steel (Afternoon Shift)

Seaspan is seeking a Trade Supervisor, Steel to lead a team of tradespeople, ensuring efficient and safe completion of trade activities within the Shipyard. This role involves adhering to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, as well as delivering product quality and team accountability. The position is on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

Requirements

• Red Seal Welder or Metal Fabricator
• 5+ years of related trades experience (outside of apprenticeship)
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience
• Dedication to safety and quality
• Proficiency in trade responsibilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Time management and organization skills
