The company is looking for an Area Sales Manager to develop the business prospecting new clients and managing current accounts in Germany and Austria.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Electrical / Electromechanical / Power Electronics Engineering or alternatively Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent proficiency in German (minimum C2 level), both written and spoken, along with a strong command of English.
- Minimum 5 years of successful technical and sales experience in an electrical equipment environment
- Proven successful track record introducing power products to new international clients
- Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy and e-mobility
- Interest and ability to understand DC and AC power systems and corresponding product needs
- Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop convincing communication strategies based on technical rationale
- Proven ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
- Experienced to work under pressure and meet deadlines
