Access Control Screening Officer

Maintains security and safety of people and property in the assigned area. Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site. Duties will include the use of a wand and metal detectors, service enhancement, and training.

Requirements

• Read and apply Screening SOP.
• Require datacenter personnel to utilize metal detection and/or wand for entrance to and exit of secure areas.
• Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoint(s).
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform handheld wand searches.
• Perform walkthrough metal detection searches.
• Required to know and follow safe work practices and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations.
