We are seeking a Security Officer to work on swing shifts in Pueblo, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Must have Swing or Grave shift availability
- Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors, truck drivers, client, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service
- Intermediate computer/technology skills required to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and ability to report alarms via telephone
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors, truck drivers, public, client, Site Supervisors, and Office Management
- Must be open to communication and feedback from client, Site Supervisor and Office Management
- Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks
- Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily
- Must be able to remain organized and professional
- Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations
- Must provide high quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone
- Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver's License, and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol - sites may not be accessible by public transportation due to shift and/or location
- Must be able to obtain a Pueblo Guard Card license and maintain it every year
- Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation in Colorado Springs if hired
