As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll help lead the daily operations of a Goodwill retail store and donation center. You'll support the Store Manager in creating a positive, productive environment for both customers and employees. Join a team where your work creates meaningful change.
Requirements
- Lead store activities to ensure strong sales and production performance
- Support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new team members
- Train and develop staff in alignment with company standards
- Review and verify daily sales reports, deposits, and financial procedures
- Coordinate product flow and shipments to ensure inventory meets sales goals
- Open and close the store, manage deposits, and secure the building
- Provide excellent customer and donor service, including resolving complaints
- Supervise the processing of donated goods to ensure quality and sales readiness
- Organize and rotate merchandise by category and color
- Encourage team motivation through communication and performance feedback
- Report maintenance needs and safety concerns to store leadership
- Act as Store Manager in their absence
