Sr. Digital IC Design Engineer

The Sr. Digital IC Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and validating digital integrated circuit blocks and systems, and leading technical teams. They will participate in chip and system definition, design digital hardware functions, and implement design for testability. The role also includes innovation & technical leadership, mentoring, and supervision of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Define, develop, verify and optimize complex digital circuits
• Design digital hardware functions and sub/full systems in RTL code using SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL
• Implement design for testability (scan chain, BIST, boundary scan) and diagnosis features
• Generate technical documentation and drive design reviews
• Define constraints, perform logic synthesis, and implement physical design for timing closure
• Support development of comprehensive verification plans and testbenches
• Support silicon lab evaluation, performance characterization and debug
• Interface with system, embedded firmware, analog, verification and cross functional teams
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers
• Technical support to test, product and application engineers
