The Donor Relations Coordinator provides essential support to the development team for a comprehensive, best-practice donor relations program. The Donor Relations Coordinator prioritizes cultivation, growth, retention, recognition, and stewardship of donors and prospects, at all levels, to foster their ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Collaborate with development team leadership to create and implement a robust donor relations program
- Partner with the Vice President of Development, development directors, and annual fund director to implement stewardship and donor engagement activities
- Generate donor reports and mailing lists for appeals, recognition, and events
- Maintain stewardship calendars to ensure timely touchpoints, follow-ups, and acknowledgments
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for donor materials
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of stewardship and recognition preferences, donor communication history, and commitments
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding promptly to inquiries and requests
- Track moves management outreach and donor engagement activity using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
- Prepare donor briefings, profiles, and background materials for donor meetings and events
- Support the development and execution of customized stewardship plans for high-priority donors
- Generate regular pipeline reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies for donor retention and engagement
- Support the development and refinement of moves management policies and best practices
