We are looking for a Robotics State Estimation Engineer to design and implement state estimation systems for autonomous heavy machinery. The role involves working at the intersection of robotics, perception, and control to estimate velocity, angular velocities, and local position in harsh environments.
Requirements
- Design and implement state estimation pipelines for autonomous machines
- Fuse data from multiple sensors using probabilistic frameworks
- Develop and maintain filter-based and optimization-based estimators
- Model sensor noise, biases, and failure modes
- Detect failures in the state estimation pipelines
- Integrate state estimation modules with localization / SLAM pipelines
- Validate and benchmark estimation performance
- Support on-machine deployment and debugging
