Job Description
Sentient is seeking a one-person General Counsel to be the primary legal advisor to the company. This hands-on role involves contract review, negotiation, corporate governance, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented corporate lawyer.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from a top tier law school
- Admission to at least one state bar
- 4-8 years of experience at a reputable law firm
- Superior negotiation and drafting skills
- Deep knowledge of contract terms
- Strong skills in drafting and reviewing contracts and managing compliance
- Excellent academic credentials and references
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Strong organizational and project management skills
