Staff Cloud Security Engineer

SentinelOne is seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Security Engineer to implement and maintain their cloud security architecture, drive security solutions, and promote security hygiene. The role involves automating security tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and staying updated on evolving threats. This position focuses on securing cloud environments using industry best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience supporting a cloud-based SaaS in an InfoSec capacity
• 4+ years working with one of our main cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong knowledge of cloud basics (Compute, IAM, KMS, VPC, Networking, Firewalls, native cloud security tools)
• Experience designing scalable and secure cloud networks (Multi-region environment)
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code
• Proficiency in Python
• Practical knowledge of Agile Software Development Lifecycle practices
• Practical knowledge of what it means to validate an environment
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as SOC II and ISO 27001
