Job Description
Sequel Wire and Cable LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for their night shift operations in Argos, IN. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, including wire drawing, bunching, and jacketing lines, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility and a safety-conscious approach.
Requirements
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on wire and cable production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to breakdowns.
- Diagnose faults using schematics, PLC interfaces, multimeters, and control systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and safety improvements.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments.
