Job Description
Serko is seeking a visionary Engineering Manager to lead their Data Engineering team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves architecting scalable data solutions, mentoring a team, ensuring data integrity, and enabling advanced analytics and ML capabilities. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of strategy, architecture, and execution, and is passionate about building a world-class team and product.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- 3+ years of leadership or managerial experience
- Experience leading and growing a data engineering team
- Experience with modern cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Data Warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics)
- Experience in maintaining data security, governance, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Strong command of data warehousing, ETL / ELT pipelines, and real-time data streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink)
- Familiarity with ML Ops workflows and tools (ML Flow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI)
- Proficiency in T-SQL, SQL, Python, and distributed computing frameworks
- Exposure or Experience with Marketing Technology platforms (HubSpot, Braze)
