Lead Engineer, Systems Verification & Validation

Serve Robotics is looking for a Lead Engineer, Systems Verification & Validation to ensure the safety, robustness, and performance of their autonomous sidewalk delivery robot. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems integration and testing of complex electromechanical and/or autonomous robotic systems.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Software or equivalent engineering field
• 8+ years of experience in systems integration and testing of complex electromechanical and/or autonomous robotic systems
• Experience with autonomous/non-autonomous robots verification and validation testing - system level, closed course testing, HIL, Simulation
• Experience with test scripting and data analysis languages (e.g. Python and SQL)
• Experience testing ROS or other DDS based robotic systems
• Highly Preferred architecture/system level understanding of autonomous vehicle software stack
• Preferred experience with converting high level AV behaviors into testable requirements
• Hands-on approach to the test and debugging of electromechanical systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for audiences ranging from technicians to senior executives
