Job Description
Sev1Tech is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring network performance and security. The engineer will work closely with architects, engineers, and administrators to support enterprise applications and ensure efficient network usage. They will also conduct research and analysis for new technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Network Engineer role
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
