Job Description
Sev1Tech is seeking a Senior Backup Engineer to support a DHS customer's infrastructure management and operations. The role involves monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, and automation, with an emphasis on DevOps and automation to improve efficiency and resilience. Experience with AI and predictive analytics is also desired.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10 years’ experience in backup administration for large-scale environments
- Working knowledge of advanced backup tools
- Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
- Familiarity with on-premise or Cloud to Cloud backup migrations
- Familiarity with data base backup and restore on NetBackup, Backup Exec, and VEEAM
- Eligibility for Entry on Duty clearance
