Job Description
As a Direct Support Professional II, you'll assist individuals with daily living, promote community connections, and support them in achieving their personal goals. You'll also take on leadership responsibilities, including training and supervising other direct support staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License & Good Driving Record
- CPR/First Aid and MAP certification required (paid training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and patient approach to care
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and independence
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds (or 200 pounds with assistance), and remain alert during shifts
