Engineering Technical Specialist

Join our team as an Engineering Technical Specialist supporting the delivery of nationally significant Strategic Resource Options (SROs) - major water supply, transfer, treatment, and storage projects ranging from £150m to £1.5bn. You'll work alongside Engineering Technical Leads, Consultants, and Regulatory partners to develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions that shape water resilience, including engineering, operational, and costing strategies for both long-term and emergency projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' post graduate experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects (water industry experience desirable)
• Familiarity with NEC contracts, risk management principles, and project delivery principles
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent experience)
• Working towards professional registration (IEng or CEng) is desirable, with support available to achieve it
• A proactive, positive attitude and genuine interest in sustainable water infrastructure
