Job Description
Severn Trent is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of innovative mechanical systems and modular solutions. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to create robust mechanical solutions, ensuring seamless integration between product design and site implementation teams, and continuously improving standard designs based on feedback and performance data.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 5 years' proven experience in mechanical design
- Familiarity with CAD and digital mechanical design tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical)
- Experience managing product life cycles and working with supply chains
- Strong understanding of H&S, mechanical safety, and risk management in engineering design
