Requirements

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and promote physical development in pediatric patients.
• Complete thorough, timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Educate and empower parents and caregivers with strategies to support progress and carryover of therapy goals at home.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure each child is achieving meaningful outcomes.
• Assess children in their natural environments—such as home, daycare, or school—and recommend modifications to enhance participation and independence.
• Recommend, fit, and train families on the use of adaptive or assistive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, braces) when appropriate.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
• Manage a pediatric caseload, maintaining open communication and trust with families.
• Ensure accurate documentation and billing for all provided services.
