Requirements
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, reduce pain, and promote physical development in pediatric patients.
- Complete thorough, timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Educate and empower parents and caregivers with strategies to support progress and carryover of therapy goals at home.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure each child is achieving meaningful outcomes.
- Assess children in their natural environments—such as home, daycare, or school—and recommend modifications to enhance participation and independence.
- Recommend, fit, and train families on the use of adaptive or assistive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, braces) when appropriate.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
- Manage a pediatric caseload, maintaining open communication and trust with families.
- Ensure accurate documentation and billing for all provided services.
