The Facilities Officer will be responsible for maintenance, porterage, and cleaning services at Hob Moor Community Primary Academy. The role will require working flexibly to meet the needs of the team and ensuring all services are provided to a consistently high standard.
Requirements
- Have a positive and professional attitude
- Be computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Have a proactive attitude towards maintaining the facility at a world class quality level
- Hold excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise with Tenant Groups & subcontractors
- Possess good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
- Possess a positive approach to learning, development and progression
- Have a trade background or good practical core skills together with previous maintenance experience
- Have a flexible outlook towards hours worked (some out of hours working may be required to meet the needs of the business)
- Have working knowledge of current Health and Safety practice
