Job Description
The Data Scientist plays a central role in transforming how Sigma group uses data to enhance event experiences, optimise operations, and drive innovation across the iGaming and broader events portfolio. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with creativity, curiosity, and a passion for solving complex problems using data.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Knowledge of cloud‐based data platforms and ML environments
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, model deployment, and MLOps practices
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‐solving skills
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively
- Understanding of event‐driven user behaviour and iGaming analytics is a plus
