The Post Production Director plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the post-production process for projects, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and seamless communication between creative teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Collaborate with Production and Project Management teams to establish best practices for post-production budgeting, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with post-production vendors and freelance editors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Implement and maintain efficient systems for backing up and organizing shoot drives on internal servers in coordination with Production Management.
- Facilitate clear communication and workflow between internal creative teams and external stakeholders, including clients and Creative Directors.
- Maintain structured and organized communication channels, utilizing SHADOW’s internal email and Slack accounts for seamless collaboration.
- Create and oversee internal policies for post-production workflows, ensuring smooth integration of post-production processes within the larger project management framework.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external stakeholder expectations, meeting all deadlines while upholding creative integrity.
